The Knight's most visible program is the annual Tootsie Roll Drive. Officially it is called the Intellectual and Learning Disabilities Drive, but it is been long known as the Tootsie Roll drive by most people. Each Year the Knights man intersections and stand outside stores collecting donations. With the exception of paying for the Tootsie Rolls themselves, all funds go to help children with Intellectual Challenges. The money that is collected locally is distributed locally. The St Peter Damian Knights support Clare Woods Academy (formerly the Bartlett Learning Center ) and Misericordia to name two. We appreciate all of the generous donations we receive from the community. If you are looking for a way to perform community service requirements for school, we arw always lookikng for volunteers to help staff locations.
